The Actual Amount Of Muscle & Lean Body Mass A Former Obese Or Overweight Man Can Expect To Build

The fatter a person becomes, The lesser the lean body mass & muscle he will be able to build later, When he loses the fat, Fat destroys the body's ability to build muscle & lean body mass. As a person becomes progessively more fatter & Heavier beyond his Ideal Body Weight (IBW), The less muscle & lean body mass he can build once he loses that excess weight containing majority fat.

Example -

1.Take a man of 5'8" height, who is of small frame(small boned), His ideal weight will be 65 kg. Now Suppose this man is 2 times fatter or greater than his IBW, then 65x2 = 130 kg, He loses the excess weight & becomes 65 kg. Now he wants to build muscle & lean body mass (LBM). He will be able to build muscle & LBM 2 times lower than his IBW, I.e - 65/2 = 32.5 kg, Since he was originally 2 times fatter than his IBW.

2.Similarly If the same person is 3 times fatter than his IBW, then 65x3 = 195 kg, He loses the excess weight & becomes 65 kg. Now he wants to build muscle & lean body mass (LBM). He will be able to build muscle & LBM 3 times lesser than his IBW, I.e - 65/3 = 21.7 or 22 kg, Since he was originally 3 times fatter than his IBW.

3. Similarly If the same person is 4 times fatter than his IBW, then 65x4 = 260 kg, He loses the excess weight & becomes 65 kg. Now he wants to build muscle & lean body mass (LBM). He will be able to build muscle & LBM 4 times lower than his IBW, I.e - 65/4 = 16.25 kg, Since he was originally 4 times fatter than his IBW.
 
                                                              Like this it will go on, as the Body Overall becomes progessively fatter, It starts to lose its Overall Muscle & Lean Body Mass building Capacity, There is a somewhat Inverse Relationship between the two Different Processes i.e fat gain & muscle gain. And it's also true that with a large amount of Muscle gain, a small amount of Fat gain will occur, but this amount of fat gain will be Insignificant. So, no need to worry about it.
